PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF THE DRUG
For fumigation of sacked or cast grain and other products in open or warehouse, a gas-tight cover is drawn on the stack and the required amount is placed at different levels of the tablet stack, avoiding contact with the tablets. The cover should be pulled towards the bottom of the heap so as to prevent gas leakage and is airtight and the edges should be closed with sand bags.
In steel or concrete silos, fumigant tablets should be distributed to various depths of the product with special probe tools. The gassing time varies depending on the air temperature. It is 5 days at 12-16 ° C, 4 days at 16-20 ° C, 3 days at temperatures above 20 ° C.
The plan for placement of tablets should be made in advance, and this process should be completed in half an hour.
