PREPARATION AND USE OF THE DRUG

Merlin Flexx is a herbicide that should be applied before planting (pre-emergence) after sowing against narrow and broad leaf weeds in corn and chickpeas. The effective ingredient of Merlin, Isoxaflutole is taken by both the leaves and roots, but mostly through the roots and it carries in the weed in both phloem and xylem and shows systemic effect.

First, the required amount of medicine is added to a clean bucket with some water and added. The prepared mixture is mixed by half into the water filled spraying tank and poured.

The required amount of water is added to the spraying tank and mixed again.

In order to get the high effect expected from spraying, the field should be leveled and the soil surface should be smooth, flat and well prepared. Spraying, in a calm windless environment, 30-40 l per decare without losing soil moisture after planting. It should be made in such a way that water is gone.

In order to avoid overdoses, the spraying device should be closed during the turns in the cushioning areas, and the lines should be followed well in the field. Temporary lightening can be observed in corn and chickpea plants in the areas where the amount of organic matter is low (less than 1.5%) and soil pH is 7.5 and above, in areas where sandy, permeable soils are overdosed.

If the second crop is planted to dry corn, the irrigation method after planting should be sprinkler irrigation. Merlin Flexx has no negative effect on crop crops to be planted after corn and chickpeas.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT

The plant protection product named Merlin Flexx is a herbicide classified as Group F2, 27 according to its mechanism of action. Repetitive applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action promote resistance development. For this reason, to delay developing resistance, do not exceed the total number of applications of Merlin Flexx recommended in the same production season. In cases where the application should be repeated, take care to use plant protection products with different mechanism of action (except for Group F2, 27).
