ACME 150 SC

Explanation
FORM OF EFFECT AND ITS FEATURES:

Alternating use of insecticides with other mechanism of action or mixing tanks with such plant protection products delays or prevents the pest from gaining resistance. Since the effective substance of ACME 150 SC, Indoxacarb has a new and different effect, the application of this product in areas where insects are resistant is very suitable for delaying or preventing resistance. If necessary, use ACME 150 SC interchangeably with carbamate, synthetic pyrethroid, organic phosphors or insecticides from the acyl urea group. Apply when pests reach the level of economic loss by monitoring the pest density. If the density is high, more than one application may be required for one offspring. For ACME 150 SC applications, always follow the recommendations regarding the dose, application range and timing on the label. The ACME 150 SC active ingredient, Indoxacarb, being highly selective to many beneficial insects will create an advantageous situation in suppressing pests and at the same time it will be beneficial in preventing these pests from gaining resistance to the products.

PREPARATION OF PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT FOR APPLICATION:

The plant protection product calculated over the recommended dosage is first mixed with some water in a separate container. The tank of the application machine is half filled with water. While the mixer of the machine is running, the mixture is added to the tank. The mixing is continued and the tank is completed with water. Mixing process continues until the application is completed. Use the prepared plant protection product on the same day.

Calibration:

Before the application, the calibration of the application machine should be done. The amount of mixture to be given to a certain area should be well adjusted in order to provide a good coating. Applications should be done in cool hours of the day in windless or less windy weather conditions.

CLEANING OF APPLICATION TOOLS:

Empty the application machine's tank safely immediately after the application is completed. After filling the tank with clean water, run the mixer and spray system to ensure all parts are washed. Do not wash near water sources. Do not discharge washing water and wastes into water sources.

USAGE OF PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT:

Against vine cluster moth: The cluster moth application times are determined according to the forecast-warning system. For larvicite application, the number of butterflies caught in the traps should reach the peak point and start to fall, the effective temperature sum should be 120 days-degrees in 1st Division, twilight temperatures 2 days in a row and should be 15 C and above, this should continue in the following days. The effective total temperature should reach 520 days in 2 nd, 1047 days in 3 derec, the phenology of grapevine should be in the period of flower bud in 1, and the beginning of sweetening in 2. Application is decided when the first larval outflow is seen. One application is made to each decade.

Against cotton leafworm in cotton: The leaves, combs, flowers and cocoons of a total of 25 plants, one plant in 10-15 steps, are checked. Application is decided when 0.5 larvae per plant or 2 egg packs or 2 newly opened egg packs are seen on 25 plants.

Against the greenworm in cotton: All plants in the 3 meter row length randomly selected are checked and the greenworm eggs and larvae are counted and the application is decided when there are 2 larvae in average of 3 meters row length.

Against cornworm and corn cornflower: When the first egg is detected, the application is made. Following the first application, 2 more applications are made with 15 days intervals.

Against greenweed in tomato: By entering the field in terms of diagonal, 50-100 plants are checked according to the size of the field, and the flowers and leaves, stems, fruits and shoots of the plant are searched for eggs and larvae. If 5 of 100 plants are found, the application is done.

Tomatoes, eggplant and cucumber against cotton leafworm: It is necessary to fight with the pest when walking in the direction of diagonals, when 1-2 eggs are opened in 100 plants or 4-5 larvae are seen. Attention should be paid to the application time, as the result will be better when the application is carried out without spreading the larvae.

Apple Bollworm: Applications to apple breamworm should be directed according to the forecast and early warning system. The goal of the apple wormworm is to kill the larvae hatched by keeping the trees medicated during the larval outflow of each period before they enter the fruit.

Against hazelnut worm: In case of more than 2 hazelnut worm on 10 January, the controls are carried out during the period when the fruits reach lentil size.

INFORMATION ABOUT RESISTANCE

The plant protection product named ACME 150 C is an insecticide classified as Group 22: A according to its mechanism of action. Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mechanism of action promote resistance development. For this reason, to delay developing resistance, do not exceed total application number of ACME 150 SC in the same production season. In cases where the application should be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with a different mechanism of action (other than Group 22: A).
